One of the more interesting ones is\u00a0it cannot convey color as meaning.<\/p>\n<p>The actual guidline in lawyer-speak: <em>Color coding shall not be used as the only means of conveying information, indicating an action, prompting a response, or distinguishing a visual element.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>What does that mean? Basically it boils down to this:\u00a0each page\u00a0must be understood even if it was black and white. Persons with visual impairments must be able to understand the content.\u00a0\u00a0&#8216;Follow the red text to find the answer&#8217; with instructions in red is\u00a0 forbidden.\u00a0 The easiest way to know if you pass is to print\u00a0each pages (yes, each page)\u00a0and test if it is\u00a0understood void of any color.<\/p>\n<p>A pain? Yes. Tedious? Yes.
